Aunt Donna and Uncle Drew's Wedding

*If for some reason the pictures stop changing,
run your mouse over them*

In November we got to go to Florida for Aunt Donna (Austin's sister) and Uncle Drew's wedding. It was all as gorgeous as you can imagine. It was on the beach in Marco Island at sunset and everything went without a hitch. Austin's mom made all of the dresses (excluding the wedding dress) and Aunt Donna did a wonderful job making sure that all of the girls felt like princesses for the day. She gave them each bags full of goodies like nail polish, rhinestone flip flops, pearl necklaces, lip gloss...the whole works! We moms put on a spa day for the girls and got them all ready together, with the High School Musical soundtrack blastin' in the background. We forgot to have something for them to wear while they were getting ready so we just had them all pull their slips up to their armpits. The 2 1/2 hours we had to get them ready flew by without us even knowing and we were all scrambling at the last minute, but I think it all turned out okay. They all looked so cute dressed up and I am sure they will all remember this forever!

During the pre-wedding photo shoot, Kamae had a big wad of gum in her mouth (also from the goodie bag) and she kept blowing bubbles. The photographer seemed like he couldn't get enough pictures of her blowing those bubbles and he nicknamed her, "Bubbles" and, of course, she hammed it up for him!:)

The wedding ceremony was beautiful and their vows were, like I mentioned in the captions, tear-jerkers. They were straight from the heart and especially since there's a child involved, it hit straight to our hearts as well. We were so glad that we were able to be a part of this special day and hopefully it won't be too long before the Orton family gets together again!

Wannado City

We took a trip to Florida in November for Austin's sister's wedding. Austin flew out early in the week because he was able to piggy back a business trip on top of it. The girls and I flew out midweek (my mom was brave and kind enough to take the boys) and met him. The first full day we were there we took the girls to a fun place called Wannado City. It's a place indoors that looks just like a miniature city and the kids get a chance to try all different occupations. They earn fake money for doing certain jobs and have to pay money to do others. They even had a bank with bank accounts and ATM cards with pin numbers. They got to be dentists, veterinarians, clowns in a circus, rock climbers, firemen (they even got to put out a fake fire...just a building facade with lots of smoke coming out of the windows...with fire hoses that really shot water and they got to ride around the city in the fire truck..siren and all), bakers, jewelers, fashion models (that was Kamae's favorite and the only one we just had to repeat...Paige felt silly and opted to be the photographer the second time around), pizza makers, chocolateers at the Willy Wonka Chocolate Factory, beauticians, marine biologists and probably even more that I can't remember. We didn't do them, but they could have also been actors and new anchors (you have to be able to read pretty well to do those). It was the cutest place and girls had a blast. We were there for five hours and weren't able to do everything. So far, Ft. Lauderdale is their only location and I think they are opening one in New York. I think it would do really well here, but you never know!

I'm Back!

Hey guys! They promised me today that our internet is fixed for good this time. I say I'll believe it when I see it, but hopefully it's true. So, over the next week or so I will try to update as much as I can!

So Frustrating...

I apologize for being such a slacker, but it's not my fault, I promise!:) Our internet service has not been working for the past couple of weeks. We've had people out to figure out what the problem has been and they have concluded today that the outside switch is going out. So, on a rare occasion we'll get service, but usually it doesn't work. It's working for the minute right now, so I thought I'd explain while I have the opportunity. They told me it should be fixed by today, so hopefully I'll be able to update tomorrow! Sorry to be so boring lately, but we'll spice things up soon!
