Father's Day 2010

Unfortunately, we didn't get a lot of pictures this year, but I did manage to snag a few of the presents that Paige created for her dad.  She came up with the Candy Gram all on her own...I just helped her a little with the layout.

They made these "awesome" ties for their dads at activity days.
It was great to see all of the dads at church being good sports
and showing off their very fancy ties!  HA!

I'm sure my children are too young to appreciate what an awesome dad they are blessed with.  He really is everything I had hoped for for them and even more.  He is always wanting to be involved and will repeatedly use his lunch break or take a little time off of work to be there to support them in school events and go be a "mystery reader", help out in the classroom or attend parent/teacher conferences.  He is a great teacher to them and is always trying to expose them to new and interesting things.  I'm grateful for him and am excited that my children get to learn and grow from him and his example!  I love you, hun!

I watched a Cosby Show the other day where Cliff was talking about all the "interesting" gifts his kids got him for Father's day over the years. He had a huge yellow tie that Theo had given him, it had palm trees and a hula dancer on it and Miami flashed in red lights. He told how he was going to speak at a Dr. Conference and when Theo was 6yrs old he walked in on Cliff trying to choose a tie and he said "Wear my tie daddy" haha so in front of all the Doctors he wore that tie! haha I know it's just a show but all the dad's wearing their ties at church reminded me of that. They truly are awesome dads!
